Desperate For Prospects? Don't Expect Anyone To Be Inspired By Your Neediness

If you want to grow your online business in the shortest time possible, you must stop displaying characteristics of desperation. Leaders aren’t desperate for you to join their program or business. Leaders don’t even ask you to join them. They give without want. They understand that the more you help someone get what they want, the more you get what you want. It just comes naturally. People flock to those who are providing great solutions to problems. Can you be that problem solver? The answer is yes.

Leaders know that the quickest way to get what they want is to provide great content, eg… solutions. Pick a niche, identify the problems being encountered, and provide solutions. It’s a simple formula that most can’t grasp. The temptation is to blurt out some pitch. Why? Because you want the quick money! Someone needs what I’m offering in here! The second that pitch hits the screen, you have exposed yourself as needy or desperate.

Go back as far in time as you want. The real leaders never asked anyone to join them. They gave so much, and provided so many solutions, people began to follow. The greatest example I can give is Jesus Christ. He never tried to sell Christianty to anyone. He didn’t tell them they had to join. He did nothing but give and teach those who were drawn to his leadership.

This is an extreme case, but think of it in terms of your online business. If you are able to put solutions out there to the people in your niche, and consistently solve their problems, what do you think the natural progression will be? I’ll answer that for you…a huge following.

Okay, so you don’t have all the answers, so how can you provide solutions? I’ll finish this article with a quick how to that you can use immediately. Understand this… the majority of people are too lazy to gather the information they need to solve their own problems. That’s where you come in. Once you have identified the niche problem, be the reporter. Skim articles from ezinearticles.com, or just Google search. Visit forums related to the niche topic and look for similar threads. Find the best answers and compile them with the other information you’ve gathered. Package it all into a report and GIVE it to your audience. Do this over and over. Be the authority on the subject. Now allow people to find you on social sites like Twitter and Facebook. The last part to the puzzle is giving them a place to join you. Create a blog or web site and add an opt in box to collect their information. This is quick and slightly oversimplified…but not much. It really is that easy.

Being desperate or a leader is your choice. If you are willing to put in a little effort, you can easily position yourself as the authority and go to guy in any niche. This is the best way to create a lasting presence online.

Yours in Success,

Ben Bradley
