Its a flashy title, to be sure, but the truth is that there are several people who can earn millions of dollars on the web. Of course, most of the people who notice this are going to do no more than shake their heads and move to the next article. This might be because, more often than not, those "here's how I made a jillion dollars" reports aren't anything more than a sales pitch. Typically, in IM, people tend to feel that people who earn the big bucks do so by teaching other people how to make those same big bucks. Sometimes, if you're able to come up with a good system this will work for you. Most of the time, however, this is a technique that will just net you some extra spending money. The following are tips for folks who want to gain true and real money on the internet.
The very first thing you have to do is get a topic that you love and then work with that. Nowhere does it say, beyond a question, that the only way for you to actually make cash is to do business in the IM market and to sell IM products. If you do have a love for the environment, create a site about that. Choosing a topic you love means that you will be more likely to stick with it and put effort into your work because the work is something that matters to you.
Work hard to make a popularity for yourself as an expert. The better your popularity, the more folks are actually gonna talk to you and track you down when they need advice. Don't forget: an expert reputation is important for more than simply selling stuff. It is what folks will utilize to hire you to generate products, coaching others on how to make their own products and then contribute in other important ways to your niche. An expert level reputation is exactly what gets you noticed not online as well as on.
Do not just center upon the creation and sales of products. Focus on creating true relationships for yourself inside your community. Participate inside niche related message boards. Send e-mails to people in your niche actually complimenting these folks on something they have designed, created or said somewhere. Leave beneficial responses on peoples' websites. Don't ever try to sell while you're doing this. The objective is to form friendships so that you will be the initial person they consider when they are asked do you know anybody who?
If your website makes regular capital, do not settle for selling it through Flippa. If you've developed a fantastic reputation for the site and are commanding a pleasant and regular income and still would like to flip it, sell the site through an investment banker. An investment banker managing the sale lends a lot more believability to what you are offering, can act as the middle man and will be better able to sell your site to someone with deep pockets who can actually pay well for it.
