How To Fail In Internet Marketing - Introduction

Hello there! Everyone seems to be telling you how to succeed in your internet business- but hardly anyone tells you how to fail – and since that is my area if expertise, I thought I could share a few thoughts with you.

In this time of austerity there are so many people who actually need to make their fortune on the internet. All the adverts out there tell you how easy it is – “Three clicks of the mouse and watch the money roll in” is a typical advert – and because we want to believe it, we tend to. So we click to get the free report – which turns out to be a sales teller and then asks you to buy the course, or ebook, or DVDs etc.

I’ve done this so many times, and sometimes the information is really good – or at least it appears to be, but as for making my fortune...no, no and no again. And sometimes the “information” is just junk. Maybe internet marketing just isn’t for me.

So I thought I would put together a few of my ideas on how to fail on the internet. Maybe you have your own story and it would be great to share your experiences, so please leave a comment, story or experience you have had, relating to your internet business attempts.

I myself came to computers late in life, after I had retired from my real job. And I do enjoy playing with my computer- but that seems to be it – play, and not a source of “riches beyond my wildest dreams” as was the promise from a recent publication.

And the internet is marvellous source of information – but there is so much to learn and only a limited time to assimilate and act upon it. So – how have you been getting on?

Are you, like me, fed up with bright promises which simply fail to deliver? Or are you well on the road to internet riches? If your internet business is booming, then – congratulations. But if your attempts at interne marketing have been lees than fantastic, then here is you chance to complain, grouse and grumble! I look forward to reading your comments.
