How Often Should I Post to Classified Ads Sites?

If you're serious about making money by posting free classified ads, then initially, I'd say post every day. Consistency is key when marketing online. And, while this is an easy way to make money online fast, it's not a "set it and forget it" way to do it. You have to consistently put in the work.

Once you start earning steadily, you may be able to pull back to 4-5 times a week instead of every single day. Posting ads can get kind of addicting though, especially once you see the payoff!

When I Post Classified Ads, Which Categories Should I Post In?

The most popular categories on almost all free online classified ad sites are biz opps (business opportunities), business services and the "personals" section. As I don't promote anything that has to do with "personals," I place all of my ads in the biz opps section.

It all depends on what product you're promoting though. For example, if you're promoting a "green cleaning" product or an ebook about green cleaning, then a category you'd want to post in is the "cleaning" section.

When you promote products and services using free online classified ads, marketing in the right category is extremely critical to making sales, so choose wisely.

How Many Ads a Day Should I Place When I Post to Free Classified Ad Sites?

All I can tell you is my experience. I'd say, at minimum, 100-150 per day when you first start out. That is, if you're really gunning for 100-250 per day. If $50 per day is your goal, you may be able to achieve that by placing just 50-100.

But, a lot depends on how the product you're promoting is priced. Lower-priced products tend to sell better. I like to promote products in the $20-$50 range.

How Can I Make Sure a Product I'm Promoting on Free Classified Ads Sites Will Sell?

Unfortunately, there are no guarantees. But a lot of internet marketing is trial and error. But, once you do find a "hot" product, you can make a lot of money rather quickly.

Should I Use Classified Ad Posting Software?

Initially, I advise against using free classified ad posting software. This is because you should familiarize yourself with this form of marketing first before spending any money.

Make sure using online classified ads to make money appeals to you. If it does, refine your systems - eg, get a cache of three or four products that earn consistently that you can promote, refine your ad writing skills, your posting schedule, etc.

Once you've done all of this, if you want to invest in software, you will have earned some money and you can let your profits pay for this investment.
