Blogging has Swept Across the World

A blog is a journal or dairy of sorts. It is broken down by entries or post in reverse chronological order. You can blog about anything from car repairs to your pregnancy. You can blog about politics, the neighbors, or even an emotional or traumatic experience in your life. The movie "Julie and Julia" that was based on a blog written about Julie's experience of cooking her way through Julia Child's French Cook Book. People enjoyed reading it, they passed the word to their friends and read it every day. It became a blog sensation. Cooking schools, cooking products and all things cooking companies began to advertise on the blog. Julie began to make money blogging.

Julie found out that you could get paid to blog about things you love, experiences you are having or things you are passionate about. People even love to read about failures, heartache, and hardships. Humans have basic emotions in common, the need to be loved, the need to eat, the need to feel wanted. If you want to capture the attention of a large reading audience, write about your experiences your trials, your joys, and your pleasure. In an often-impersonal world, there is something very personal about blogging.

You can also make money blogging by writing blogs, reviews, post, or entries for companies with interactive web sites. People want to know about products and businesses, events and restaurants. Advertisers pay for these types of blogs. Go online and find a reputable company and write for them. They set up the contracts with the business and pay you for your input.

Blogging differs from static websites in that people are interactive. Readers are invited to comment on blogs sharing their views on the subject. Blogs combine images, text, and link to other blogs and web pages, especially of their advertisers. Blogging is sweeping the world; as of February of 2011, there were over 156 public blog in existence. Blog is both a noun and a verb. "To blog" is the action of writing the blog, to read a "blog" is the noun meaning the text or article.
