Dealing With The Gulf Coast Claims Facility (GCCF) Is Not A Bed Of Roses

If you thought that dealing with the IRS over a tax issue was a nightmare, wait until you get to go head to head with the Gulf Coast Claims Facility (GCCF). It will make the IRS look like they are amateurs, this organization is so tough. After all, BP did not setup this group just to hand out money to everybody that showed up on their doorstep.

BP is a big business; in fact, they are a supersized company with operations on virtually every continent. Just like all big businesses, they do one thing and one thing only, they make money. If they payout on a claim, that is money coming out of their pocket, and going into yours.

The US government used its persuasive powers to get BP to setup a 20 billion dollar oil relief fund. The reasoning that the government used this was that it would be easier for people and businesses to collect what was legally owed to them.

Were they wrong because the Gulf Coast Claims Facility (GCCF) is run by BP's attorneys, who in no way want to jeopardize their very high paying jobs by making it easy to collect on a claim. Instead, what they have done is to make it very difficult, if not impossible, just to get your claim accepted by them, much less ever approved and eventually paid for the actual amount of the damages that you incurred.

The GCCF requires so much paperwork and documentation done just to have your BP claim accepted by them, that your head starts spinning once you hear everything that you need to do. Most individuals and small business owners in this area are not equipped to handle this kind of work. After all, they are experts at what they do, they are not accountants and attorneys, and those are the types of professional requirements that are needed to complete all of the documents that this group requires.

To give you an idea of everything that you must submit to the Gulf Coast Claims Facility (GCCF), let's start with their forms. Depending on what business you are in, and how much you lost, you could be required to fill out well over 20 different forms.

These are not just some normal easy to understand forms either, they are very complex and the instructions that come with them are virtually useless. After you get done with the forms, next you will need at least 5 years of tax returns, bank statements, and financial statements. If all of that was not enough, you could also be required to produce a business plan explaining how your business operates, and financial projections for your future operations.

The Gulf Coast Claims Facility (GCCF) has driven more than one person crazy trying to successfully compile everything that they want. Today, there are many experts working in this area of the country that have a great deal of experience dealing with this organization. If you feel like you might need a little help, you might want to consider contacting one of them.

It's definitely time to get more information on the GCCF, especially if you've been wrongfully denied by a Gulf Coast Claims Facility. If you have, you need to get proper legal help and check us out online at BPClaim.com immediately.
