Making money as a freelance website writer isn't necessarily hard, but it isn't always a piece of pie either.
Let me explain...
The trick to really making money online as a freelancer is to find the right clients, and work hard enough to make a certain amount of money each day. Clients are easy; you can go to Freelancer or Guru and any place like that, but it's hard to stick with it each day until you make enough.
What I do, for example, if figure out how much I need for the month. I then divide that by the number of days in the month, and the final figure is how much I need to make each day. For example, if I need 1,000 this month, and I only want to work 20 days, I have to make $50 each day that I work.
If one client isn't giving me enough, I find another one and work for both of them. If they aren't working, I find a third, and so on. It's not about the hours; it's about the money.
